Human Dignity

About DCF
Who and what we are
Domus Communis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which is a global constellation of organizations that aims to create a values-based platform for ethical, responsible and Sovereign AI for all of humanity, promoting peace and the common good.
How we work
We aim to educate through our multilateral dialogue-driven events, workshops, and research to empower the common person to leverage this information and work towards ethical, values-based, sovereign AI and emerging cyber tech to serve humanity.
Inspired by the wisdom of Magnifica Humanitas and the broader tradition of Catholic Social Teaching, and rooted in the conviction that human dignity, interfaith work towards the common good, solidarity, and integral human development must guide every line of code, we, the planners, stewards, and builders, are collaborating and constructing what we call a "cyber commons". This is a globally networked, collaborative space where values-based technology development happens through shared resources, shared solutions, and shared benefit for all of humanity, regardless of faith, race, color, creed, geography, or income.
Why it matters
Often, AI creators and users speak different languages. Domus Communis Foundation bridges this gap, mediating and translating between the tech world and the public, ensuring no community is left behind. We promote what benefits the common good now and in the future.
Our doors are open to all people of every belief system and background. We connect engineers, ethicists, academics, Nobel Laureates, faith leaders, regulators, and ordinary citizens around a shared goal: a future in which ethical and sovereign AI, data sovereignty, and human-centered technology advance peace, protect human dignity, and serve the common good of every person and every community on earth.
Inspired by Catholic Social Teaching
Every person possesses inherent worth; technology must serve and protect this dignity.
Technology should benefit all of society, not just the privileged few.
Decisions should be made at the most local level possible.
Technology must foster interconnection and mutual support.
Technology should bridge gaps, not widen them.
Sustainable innovation preserving the earth for future generations.
While inspired by Catholic principles, DCF welcomes and serves people of all faiths and backgrounds.
